OUR HISTORY

Committed to Making a Difference

In 2000, God led Bishop Ann Roberts to make a difference in the lives of youth all throughout the borough of Brent by providing them with all the tools, resources and support they need in order to shape them into the leaders of tomorrow. Over the years, Brent for Jesus has grown to be the best Youth Organization in the area - offering youth of the community a chance to reach their fullest potential.

2011

God is doing a new thing.  Hot on the heels of the 2011 riots in Brent, God gave us a Divine Mandate to "ESTABLISH A BEACH HEAD". Here, we have been instructed to build HIM an army of young people who will take the Gospel to other youth and encourage them to join the campaign for Souls.  The theme for this year's Mission was 'Climate of Change'.

2012

The formation of a Spiritual Army was unfamiliar to us, so we waited on the Lord for His direction of how to go forward. Meanwhile, we continued our work in the Community witnessing on the streets and seeing positive results.  We have on record the healing of 5 people at the time of their salvation.  These have been 'followed up'.

2013

Meetings were arranged to meet with pastors/leaders who committed to the training of recruits in the Brent Youth for Jesus Army.
We also met with young people to enquire from them the areas of concern in their lives and how they can develop in their Christian walk.
We prepared a Beach Head Ministry Information Pack explaining the aims and objectives and some of the subjects that would be taught.

2015

The B4J Ministry was one of the Charities/Agencies invited to attend a meeting with Boris Johnson, Mayor of London.  He called the meeting to show his appreciation to Londoners who were active in improving the local communities in the Boroughs of Brent and Harrow.

At Mission 2015, we presented certificates to those recruits who had enrolled in the Army.

The Beach Head Information Pack was revised and now included subjects like:â—‹  Understanding the Born Again Experienceâ—‹  The Love Walk â—‹  The Crucified life â—‹  The Jewish roots of Christianityâ—‹  Life Coaching

2016

Start of the Beach Head (army training) on 1 October 2016.  In November 2016, six children between the ages of 6 and 11 accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

As the Lord leads, we will continue our work in the community and in training the soldiers of Brent Youth for Jesus Army until Brent becomes a Praise in the land.
